Growing up Kool E found solace in electronic music. As a teen, acts such as The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Faithless & Fatboyslim were early influences.

After graduating from High School he found himself entrenched in the "Rave" scene where he fell in love with the culture. Being exposed to everything from House to Hardcore loving every minute of it all.

Starting out as a bedroom DJ playing at friend's house parties he quickly made a name for himself and found himself playing at local Clubs and underground "raves", finally securing himself a residency @ the legendary Numbers Dance Club In East London in 2005, This gave him an opportunity to play alongside some of the country's best Artists.

Having made numerous appearances on South Africa's #1 National Radio station 5FM and multiple guest slots on various podcast shows, Kool E continues to evolve and hone his production skills, recently releasing a collaboration with South African super duo New Hero.

Trends come and go but at the end of the day all that matters is the music and this is one DJ that loves what he does and if you ever manage to catch one of his sets you feel that passion come through the speakers.
